my neighbor broke in my house and no legal action has been taken can i put a poster in my front yard saying thief among us let the other neighbors be aware of the situation

Breaking into a house with the intent to commit larceny or a felony is burglary and very serious. Why has not the police investigated your neighbor and the DA prosecuted him? As far as posting sign on the yard, well, you could be liable to your neighbor for libel, unless you have solid evidence that he did it, because truth is a defense to defamation.
