Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Can a person come to your house and legally video tape into your gate entrance without your consent? If this illegal can I sue this person for invasion of my privacy? I had a couple come to my house one rang doorbell while the other sat in car and video taped into my gated entrance�

Look up the new anti-paparazzi law, Civil Code � 1708.8 . You could sue them. Unless they are gumshoes. � 1708.8(g).
