Avoiding libel on a forum web site
I would like to create a web site for job candidates to do a regional search on a prospective employer. This free-form type web site will allow current employees, and possibly even disgruntled employees and ex-employees to make cndid posts. The purpose of this is to prevent potential job-hopping where it can be avoided. My question is, if I create and administer this web site, what are my obligations to prevent libel, and protect myself when I am not the one making the statements, rather just giving the forum for others to do it?
