Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Full name and Address of Industry

Hello. I'm going to sue one of the bigest cell phone companies in the United States. I requested my deposite $1000, but they had never returned me the deposit. In addition, they charged an extra $1000 for nothing. I have an photocopy of Chacher's check's I deposited to the company, so I'm ready to go to a small claim court.

However, I still needed to know the name and address of the company's officer who can be notified by law suit. I called Corporate Status Division, a secretary of State, to find out the legal name and address was. But, nobody answered the phone. Nobody returned me a call, although I left messages.

So, are there any other ways to find out the company's legal name and adrees?

You should check secretary of state in the state where the company's principal place of business is conducted. Many of the secretary of state websites have such information listed if you cannot get through on the phone.

The information provided to you is of a general nature.
