Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

My hands were infected at nail salon.

My hands and fingers got infected from the nail salon and I'm not the fussy type so I ignored the small cuts that were forming around my nails. Unfortunately before long they had spread throughout and in small parts of my hands, long cuts as well. I went to three different Dr.'s who all provided me with different prescriptions etc. To this day it is not 100% cleared up. After all this I do not have health insurance and have been paying out of pocket. I am now getting very frustrated. The salon said to just bring my bills in and they could potentially cover it. After months of going through this and not be able to type at one point (my job), I may want to take an extra step in receiving compensation. Should I contact their insurance company? When I called the salon they told me they couldn't give the information until I come in with my bills....help. I have pictures.

Re: My hands were infected at nail salon.

Sorry to hear about your injuries. Unfortunately, you are not the first person I am hearing this from.

In order to receive proper compensation for your current out-of-pocket expenses as well as any future medical expenses it would be a good idea for you to consult with an attorney who handles personal Injury cases.

If you would like to discuss this matter further, contact me as I have experience in a matter very similar to yours.

Re: My hands were infected at nail salon.

I am sorry to hear about what happened. I hope you are doing better now. You should contact an attorney to assist you, as going at this alone may not garner you the full amount of compensation you are due.

I would be willing to discuss your case to see how I may be of assistance as I have experience in personal injury law in the consumer context.

I offer prospective clients an initial consultation of 30 minutes for free.

I look forward to speaking with you.

Yours truly,

Bryan

If they won't give you the insurance information, you need to either hire an attorney or go to small claims court.
