Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

I signed a contract 18 days ago to purchase a car and was told at the time I would have no problem qualifying for zero percent financing. They deposited my $5000 check a week ago. Now I'm told they can't get that financing. I understand that the seller cannot cancel the contract after 10 days, but after 10 days change the financing terms?

Financing was contingent on their being to obtain a loan for you. You might shop around and see whether you can do better than what they're offering. Of course, if you can't obtain financing that you can afford, you might have to return the vehicle.
