Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Can I attach a judgement to a defendants other civil lawsuit

I just received a judgement. The defendant is involved in a civil law suit where he might win some money. How do I attach my judgement to his lawsuit so that in the event he does win I might get paid.

Congratulations on winning your judgment. Read the book from Nolo Press, Collect Your Judgment. If the topic is not covered in that excellent book, I apologize in advance. There is a court form to attach a lien to his other case, you might be able to find it at www.courtinfo.ca.gov/forms . Good luck!
