Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

So back in 2009 my fiancee went before a judge for being drunk in public in a casino. he had to take aa classes in nevada and his primary residence was in california so he wasnt able to make all the classes. the judge said if he missed one he would have to pay a fine . Well he missed one and hasnt paid his fine and more than likely has a bench warrant for his arrest. He has grew up and is no longer the young and disrespectful ignorrant one and has a great job. Our proble is we are trying to buy house and his fine is ruining his credit and he is worried if he goes into the reno court they will arrest him and keep him in jail until court date which will end up in him losing his job. Is there a way to pay his fine and get rid of bench warrant without haveing him step into court? or get a bounty hunter?

Your fiancee can simply call the court and ask them how much the fine is and how he can pay. He can also ask if there is bench warrant for his arrest. If so, he should contact a criminal defense attorney in Reno for assistance. If the court sent it to a collection agency, he can contact that company instead.
