What are the limits on (staturory) damages you can recieve in small claims court?

In California, the maximum amount you can obtain in small claims court is $5,000.00. Oregon may or may not be the same. If you are considering filing an action in Oregon, you should either contact an attorney licensed in Oregon, or the small claims court where you plan to file.
