Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

debt repayment attempt refused

I am a student,I have two past due credit card accounts.one has gone to collections, the other is being handled by a law firm. I have retained a the help of a non profit consumer credit agency and the attorney refuses to deal with them. I also have informed the firm in writing thatI am willing to pay this debt in full within twelve months, they also refused. I don't want this to go to small claimes but I can only pay on these terms. What can I do?

Re: debt repayment attempt refused

from the facts given, it appears the attorney who is refusing to deal with your "representatives" or accept any settlement offers you have initiated to date, is merely a glorified "collection agent" too, just with an attorney title designed merely to intimidate you. there is alot you can do in your situation here, but we would need more information from you. if you would like to contact us directly by email, we will get more information and further assist you in this matter.
