Garnishment of Wages
I bought a set of sofas about 2 years and they were defected when i complaint to the manager he agreed to exchange them for another set however the same thing happend to the 2nd set, i complaint again they were upset and thought i was lying when they had the service dept. come to house they agreed i was right. To make the story short they sent me another set and i have they same problem they refuse to take them back and credit my account i told them i was taking them to court and i needed copies of all the service calls they did, i refused to pay until they solve the problem. I just got served with a wage garnishment i never received paper work to go to court they want 25% of my wages if that happens i will not be able to support my 3 children I'm a single mom i don't make enough for them to take out that amount of money is there anything i can do to prevent this ?

You can file a motion to vacate the judgment; you can ask the court to lower the garnishment or you can file a bankruptcy.
