My ex girlfriend has items that I bought by credit card that I'm still paying off. What would be the best thing for me to do? Thank you.

Whether you gave her cash or property as a gift then that belongs to her if your gave it to her as a gift. A gift is a gift. If you are saying that she has things that belong to you (not a gift you gave to her) and you want them back, then assuming you asked to give the items back and she said not, you need to take her to small claims court to sue her for the value of the items she will not return. You still have to pay the credit card company. The fact that you no longer have the property is not a legal defense to a debt.
