Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

My husband was served with a levy on any and all accounts stnading in his name and SS number. He is a signer but not contributer on his father's bank account. Can his father's account be garnisheed?

Yup. If he can take money out of an account they can take it out to satisfy his judgment. It is then up to the rightful owner of the funds to go to court on what is called a third party claim to try to get the money back.
