My husband passed away October 30th 2008. I received papers suing his estate. Is term life insurance and severance package considered an estate?

Re: life insurance, severance package Yes, they may be after everything. You need to obtain an attorney immediately. Failure to do so may result in default. Default means judgment against you without even being able to argue your case in court. You should contact my office or obtain another attorney today.
