Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I have been trying to locate a specific attorney for several months, and was told by another attorney that all attorneys listed with the California State Bar are required to list a current and valid business address, but the attorney I'm trying to find is listed but only has a P.O. box address.

How can I find out where she is practicing?

That made me think... because I also only have only a p.o. box listed in the website of the California Bar which is what the Bar requires as a business address for purposes of sending the attorney notices. The Bar also has the attorney's home address but that is confidential. An internet (google) search should produce a physical address for the attorney if he is practice anywhere and there is also an email address listed for the attorneys in the Bar's website generally plus phone number and/or fax number. Unless the attorney is intentionally hiding (which would not make sense for an attorney who is providing a service who wants to be found by potential clients), then finding the attorney's physical address should not be difficult. If you are trying to sue the attorney and need to serve him with process (court papers) then the U.S. Postal Service has a form you need to fill out and get the physical address of the person who owns the post office box.
