Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

What recourse do I have against a credit union unfairly offering a higher rate on an auto loan. Per their ads I qualify for a lower rate but they won't give it to me because of my credit score. I have a 740 experian and 738 transunion credit score, they claim 680 experian. What can I do?

It's not the credit union's obligation to clear up discrepancies in your credit score and they certainly aren't obligated to give you a rate reserved for high scores when yours is reported lower than their cut off. You need to take it up with the credit reporting agencies and figure out why you believe your experian is 740 and the credit union believes it is 680.
