What is the proper service of Request of entry of defualt judgment I was mailed the request without the process sever or sheriff serving it on me it this legal?

Since you likely were personally served with the original complaint, then service by mail of subsequent court documents is appropriate.

Serving a request for entry of default by mail is legal and the most common method of service for this document. Anybody who is over the age of 18 and not a party to the action mail serve the request.
