Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Serving of notice for Small Claims Court

If an attempt is made by a bailiff or process server to serve a notice to one of our family members to appear in Small Claims Court, but this family member has moved to a new address several days prior to the notice being served, may the bailiff or process server ask for the new address and is anyone in the family required by law to devulge the new address?

Yes! The process server can ask, but No! No one is under any obligation to give him information.
