I didn't know this was possible but apparently he's been able to do so. What can she do to protect her money and credit until she files for divorce. He is opening one daily. She should file for legal separation tomorrow. That will create an end date for her liability for his debts. She should then go to her bank, change accounts and make sure he can not get access to that account. She should then run a credit report and see what has been opened in her name that she did not know about. Call the creditors and close those accounts and report that her identity has been stolen.

Then contact a local divorce attorney.
