Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I'm being sued for "damage done to a car". This person does not have any evidence that I did it, he even brought some one to threaten me to pay...what can I do?

Do you have auto insurance yourself? If so, report it to you insurance company and let them handle the investigation.

You can just refuse to pay and have them sue you and prove it in court but you must first report it to your liability insurance company and must likely they will tell you to stay out of it since it will be your insurance company's responsibility to resolve the claim and have an attorney represent you in court if you are sued.
