Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Suit by Mann & Bracken

Hi. I received a civil court summons about a month ago. Before responding, I sent the plaintiff's lawyer a debt validation letter. More than 30 days later, the lawyer sent me a settlement offer instead. Should I send another letter requesting validation? Also, I want them to produce documentation to prove that the account is actually mine. Is there a form that I need to file with the court to make that happen or do I need to send the lawyers a production of documents letter?
