What California Penal Code covers health care professionals found guilty of crimes? What would happen to thier professional status and liscense?

The crimes themselves are in the Penal Code. The laws covering health care professionals are in the Health and Safety Code (search at www.leginfo.ca.gov).

Needless to say, if you have been accused of a crime, or you are facing administrative action with respect to a professional license or your job, you need to call a lawyer right away.
