I was charged with indecent exposure 30 years ago but when went to court case was dismissed, what does that mean

If it was dismissed on your first court appearance it probably means that you were never charged. If was dismissed, later, and you have no other convictions it presumably means that you do not have a record. To be sure you ought to go to a police station and get a copy of your rap sheet. Rap sheets are difficult to read so you may want to have a criminal defense attorney or a prosecutor review it for you
