Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

If I am being charged with PC 288

The conviction took place in CA where I reside now, but... I would like to move to Fl with my family.

Since CA has been very difficult for me since I have to pay child support and rent and on top of that live far due to regulations.

With my family I will get the financial assistance I need.

I do not know it off the top of my head but Florida might be even tougher on sex crime offenders than California. Something you might want to look into.

If you are still on probation, you would need to ask your probation officer of course. If not on probation, you should retain a private lawyer or contact a public defender's office to investigate this matter for you, i.e., what would be the conditions of your move to California. Chances are you would need to continue your registration in California as well as register in Florida.

Good luck,
