Re: court hearings

Among the worst decisions one could make in life is not to be represented by a lawyer if charged with a crime. The sooner you get one the better. Your first hearing is called an arraignment and it would be highly beneficial to have a lawyer retained prior to that date.

If you cannot afford private lawyer, insist on having a public defender appointed for you at the first court date.

Hope this helps,

Re: court hearings

While you provided few details, for the best results please have your attorney present at the first hearing. Arrange this well in advance of your court date, don't put it off until the last minute!

If the charge is a misdemeanor, and you have an attorney, you won't have to appear in court, your attorney will be able to handle nearly everything without your being there.

You are respectfully invited to email or call me directly for more information.
