Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

How can we have someone criminally punished for making false allegations to the Sheriff's and to Child Protection Services, etc. I have proof of who has made these false allegations and I can prove these allegations were made out of vindictivness and/or for retaliation.

"Making false allegations is to vague". Did they file a police report? Make a 911 call? Anonymously? What were the allegations? TRUE, by any chance? You can't get the advice you need with hints as to what you are asking.

If the false reporting then caused you to be charged criminally then, you can file a police report and ask the District Attorney's Office to file charges against that person. If the allegations to the Sheriff's Department weren't true and somehow had a negative effect on your reputation and standing in the community you may want to seek the advice of a personal injury lawyer about some civil recourse. Allegations to Child Protective Services are confidential so, you may not be able to find out what was said or by whom.
