As a Former Deputy District Attorney and as a Certified Criminal Law Specialist, who has handled these cases for 26 years, let me tell you that, based on the facts you have stated, you are looking as 1) 422 pc ( Criminal Threats) and 2) 245 pc) ( Assault with a Deadly Weapon) maybe with GBI. These are both Felonies and both Strikes. You should contact an experienced law firm to fight for you. I would need to hear all the facts, before I could answer with any more specificity. Contact a lawyer NOW. Also, even if your boyfriend recants, that doesn't mean the case will go away. Don't speak to law enforcement and get an attorney asap. I wish you well...............David
