I forgot to attend jury duty

I was summoned for jury duty and forgot to go. At the time I was on a business trip out of state. I never sent in the envelope asking for an extension. Is this a crime? What could happen?

You could be arrested, however, that is very likely to occur. Many people fail to follow through with the duty to call for their jury duty assignment.
