Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Husband has a restraining order against him due to a bystander's "perceived" domestic violence against me. I want to attend the arraignment so that I can attempt to request the restraining order be lifted. Can we be in court at the same time or is that a violation of the order?

Check with your husband's attorney; if he has not hired one or is ineligible for a public defender, he needs to get an attorney. I would assume that since you are appearing as a witness you can be in the courtroom. After all, if you were testifying against him, it would make no sense that you could not be in the courtroom to speak against him.
