Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

can an investigator take nude pictures of you while in county jail? when the inmate refuses and requests to speak to his attoney and investigators say they already obtained the attoneys permission and if inmate won't cooperate, they will force him to take the pictures. is this illegal? what can the inmate do?

The police would generally need a warrant for such an intrusion. I don't think that is the sort of thing that an attorney can consent to without his or her client's permission. For an criminal charges, there would be an issue of whether any evidence found would have to be excluded. There may also be civil liability for such an intrusion.
