Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I got a Minor in possession as my first offense when calling an EMT to help my friend who drank to much, She couldn't move and I couldn't leave her there forcing me to call the police. Im 18 and I want to be able to drive to my 2 jobs and classes in college. What do you think I should do?

My apologies, but the law usually suspends a license for minors by suspending their driving license for one year. I had a client with the same problem and they had to use the bus for one year to go to work. In my opinion, you should seek a DUI attorney in your area but in my opinion, they probably can't supersede the legislation I gave you above. But if you want to try, a DUI attorney in your area is your "best" bet. Sorry about the bad news. See, the DMV can suspend your license on their own accord, even without a judges input. The DMV have their own set of standards and it is unlikely a judge can tell the DMV what to do unless he completely throws out the conviction.
