Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

PC 647(f)

I was arrested on the morning of my friends birthday in my own apartment complex's hallway(right infront of my door). my neighbors called the cops because i accidentally broke the glass that held the fire extinguisher and was being extremely loud. however, when the cops came, i came out to talk to them and they did not listen and just cuffed me(all of this was happening on the property of my apartment complex in the hallway). next, they just placed me into the squad car and booked me at the local jail. i spent 8 hours there and the next morning, they gave me a notice to appear in court with the code PC 647(f). what is going to happen now? this is my first time with a run-in with the law. should i contact a lawyer? should i contest this ticket? or should i just do nothing and wait until the court date? please help me out.

Re: PC 647(f)

I would go without an attorney. THey may not even file charges.
