Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

second time of being falsely charged with domestic violence. first time she admitted to the judge during pretrial that she had lied. What do i do? I know that i have a warrant 2009 from my ex. I am on probation currently for a 5 yr term for receiving stolen property which I have one year left. I report to probation every month to Tuolumne County, they recently transferred me to merced, county, california like two months ago. My new probation officer has already came to my house and ive checked in with her. So that means paperwork exchanging hands. I am not sure if tuolumne knew i had a warrant they never said anything. All the sudden my probation officer calls me thursday and says you have to go to court on wednesday to sign your terms and conditions, then come and see me. This is a problem I am scared that its known to my probation officer that i have this warrant, because she came to my house friday with 2 male probation officers. What can I do? I just had a 8 month old baby boy with my finance. Which she has seizures so she can't be left alone, also I am the sole provider for my household. I can bail out sure but on the letter it says a 55,000 bond which would be 5,500. And right now that is impossible we are short on rent already this month. I can't leave my fiance, and my baby to be left like that no way. The first time my ex wife accused me she admitted to the judge that she lied because she was mad at me and because she was off her psych meds (also she has several suicide attemps and mental hospital admissions, she lied that her oldest sons father molested him, in the end he committed suiside, after his death she told me she did it because he left her) and again she is lying. The judge previously told her if she ever lied again in court that she would have her arrested. On top of that I had just been in a really bad motorcycle accident. I really just need some good advice. please and thank you very very much God Bless

You have two choices, First you can go to court and plead your case or second you can not appear in court and a bench warrant will be issued for your arrest. By going to court you have a better chance of getting a good outcome. Also If your probation officer intended to arrest you that would have occurred when she came to you home. Try to contact the public defender or retain an attorney prior to the court appearance.
