Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Warrant

Hi, I need help with my boyfriend. To make it short, he had originally

been sentenced to 3 months in jail about 2 months ago. He went to the

jail to serve his time, and they sent him home ordering him to serve the

remainder of his sentence by doing Cummunity Work program. He had

the days modified to weekends and then he got an ulcer, he missed 3

weekends of CWP. He then went to court to get permission for

modification, and the judge was real nice and said he'd give him another

chance. So he went to the jail to modify it 2 days after seeing the judge,

and they said there was a warrant for his arrest and cuffed him! Then

they uncuffed him and told him to go to court! So now he's afraid to go

because our sons birthday is in 2 weeks and he thinks they will sentence

him and he'll miss his birthday. I was wondering what he could do to

clear the warrant . It just seems strange that the judge said one thing,

and the jail said another. Should he explain to the judge what happened,

or will it even matter. Will he definantly get time? Please help thank you.

Re: Warrant

Assuming this is a misdemeanor case, an attorney may be able to appear for him and have the warrant recalled. I would need his name and date of birth to learn how many warrants have been issued and which case each pertains to. Email me his information and a phone number where I can contact him.

Regards,

Ben
