Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

the bosses at my job show favortism towards a number of emoployees. they give verbal warnings and written suspensions to certain people. these warnings can of time and attendance issues, job performance issues and much more. there also has been certain employee evaluations done to employees, which no manager or supervisor has present to evaluate. there have instances where an employee who was not wearing the proper dress code hat was told to wear a company hat, yet the employees who are shown favortism did not have to switch hats. when asking for certain days off during the week, they were not granted them, yet again the ones who are shown favortism get their days off. there are more issues and i can list them if needed

What is your question? Can you do anything about it. You can complain and perhaps get fired. The favoritism will be denied.

Unless favoritism is based on race, gender or other legally protected class, there is not a thing you can do except work to be one of the favored ones, or find another job. Employment is not legally required to be free of discrimination, only free of discrimination based on specific protected classifications.
