Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

sexual discrimination

I am wondering if it is considered sexual discrimination for a supervisor to request male employees to remove any/all earings while at work, but have no restrictions for females. I feel that my managers are unfairly demanding and enforcing dress code and appearance code policies for the male employees at my work. I want to thank you for taking the time to look at my grievence.
