Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Hi ,

I have got 6 days of weekend work program in San jose , and i have already registered , however i have to relocate to new jersey . Can I do this weekend work in New jersey ?

As a practical matter, probably not. You would need to hire an attorney (or appear pro per), appear before the court and ask for some sort of arrangement with a private work furlough facility in New Jersey (if one exists near your new home). This would probably be more expensive and more trouble than it's worth. Have you thought about asking the court to modify your sentence/probation to allow a week straight of the work furlough before you leave? Good luck!
