Legal Question in DUI Law in California

1st offence 23153 (A) & (B)

I was arrested for a DUI 12/24/2007. The released me a week later and said I had did my time. I now received a court date saying charges have been filed against me 5 months later. Can they do this and rearrest me for the same charge? Plus do additional jail time?

How many times are you going to re-ask this question? You are charged with a felony, and you risk possibly going to state prison unless you do something about it.

You are not being re-arrested. I am not sure what was meant by you did your tie, but you did not. A DUI requires several court appearances in front of a judge. The penalties can effect your license, fines, school and jail time (what time you did MAY but does not necessarily count). You should contact an attorney to help you out.
