Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Arrested for dui

district attorney did not see my case, (blood alcholol level .ooo)then 4 months later, reset a court date adding additional charge of illegal drug paraphenalia. Drug paraphenalia was no where on the ticket. can they add this charge a a later date

Yes, the D.A. can amend the charges and add a drug paraphernalia charge.

And remember, DUI can be either alcohol or drugs, or both. So, you're lack of alcohol does not end the inquiry into whether you were under the influence.
