Legal Question in DUI Law in California

DUI conviction on criminal record

I had a dui conviction in 1987 in California, is it possible that it was not put onto a criminal record?

I believe it was a misdemeanor in 1987.

Thanx for the advice

Doubtful. The conviction was probably in the records, but some records purge after a period of time. If, for example, you are talking about DMV records in California, that agency currently (it varies) keeps DUI convictions for about ten years, then they are deleted.

Hello,

Most likely it is on your criminal record. Often after many years some records will be purged but in many cases they remain. Your DMV record will reflect the conviction for 7-10 years.
