Legal Question in Education Law in California

suspend from private school

Hi,

My son is 3 and half year old and my daughter she is 5 year old.

Both are start going to same private school son in perk and daughter kindergarten

My son was going same from 1 and half year.

My daughter was going same school from past 2 and half year.

I start receiving complaint about my son from past 2 week regarding his behavior.

I never received complain before that.

After 2 week passed school suspend both my son and daughter from school.

When I talk to them regarding my daughter why take out from school. They said in our policy you can suspend any student without giving reason.

Please advice me what to do?

Re: suspend from private school

Hello.

Unfortunately, with a private school, your ability to redress these issues is severely limited. Since the school apparently has not violated the Education Code and otherwise not "unlawfully" discriminated, there is little that you can do. Make a meeting with the administrator and try to work it out.

Your alternatives are a new private school or public school on the other end of this spectrum.

I hope thi shas been helpful.
