Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have 50% sole and legal custody. The other parent has moved and is changing my daughters school. What does the law say about where the school should be located? We live about 30 minutes away from each other.

If you and your ex share legal custody, that means that the decision of choice of school is also shared. If you cannot decide between you, you may have to ask a judge to decide for the both of you. I am not sure what you meant by 50% sole custody.
