Legal Question in Family Law in California

My boyfriend's ex shares legal custody of their son while my boyfriend has complete physical custody and she has visitation. We are planning on returning to court to see if it would be possible to either get supervised visitation (which she has had before) or would it be possible to get her rights revoked as a parent. She has a suspended license, warrant for her arrest for failing to appear in court, an unstable living situation, she is unemployed, she is not helping financially, and she has never been involved in any of her sons activities from school to doctor appointments. She has also lied to the state twice saying that she had custody of their son when she did not so that she could get welfare and food stamps, which screwed if their sons insurance. If you happen to have any advice on how to handle this situation it would be very much appreciated.

It sounds like going back to court for a modification of her visitation is the way to go. Document everything you can and attach it to the declarations. Things the court and its research attorneys have time to look at and read before the hearing get a lot more consideration than what is said off the cuff in the courtroom.
