Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child's school

I have 51% custody of my 6 year old son. I would like to move him to an equil if not better school closer to my home. as the agreement stands now, I have him one week and his mother has him the next. She chose his currant school when the custody was in her favor. By his attending his currant school he spends up to 2 1/2 yours a day in befor / after care on her weeks and 0 on mine. This school requires me to travel an additional 110+ miles a day. I have propossed that I have my son during the school week and her during the weekends with giveing her opertunity to make up custody time during vacations and summer thus bring the balance back to 51% - 49% What can I do?

Re: Child's school

If you cannot agree then you must file a motion and let the judge decide. That's what the judges are for, to make decisions when the parents can't agree. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
