Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a court date set for March 06, 2012. to Terminate my Parental Rights I have a court appointed attorney and she has been no help at all How do I fire her and appeal the Courts decision to terminate my parental rights. Also How can I get a delay in Court proceedings.

If you have a court date for March 6, then your rights have not yet been terminated and so you have nothing to appeal. You can still hire your own attorney and that attorney can simply substitute themself into the proceedings. Once you find counsel, they will know how to delay the process. Good luck!
