Legal Question in Family Law in California

current husband taking a loan to purchase a home

We will be filing for a divorce 5/27/04-my husband is trying to get a loan to purchase a home in Arizonia. Can he and the lender do this without my signature and my approval? This obvious will effect my credit report.

In a general sense, if the title company is aware of the fact that he is married, they will require your signature on a quitclaim deed if you are not going on the loan.

For a specific opinion regarding your individual circumstances, I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
