Legal Question in Family Law in California

My daughter (13 years old) told me and her stepmother that she was recently physically assaulted by her biological mother. I reported her to CPS and the Police. The police made a report and CPS says they can't do anything because there is no physical evidence. Now my daughter has mediation coming up and is going to tell this story to the mediator. The biological mother has a past of domestic violence, and is currently in a relationship that my daughter says that is still happening. when my daughter tells this to the mediator what will the course of action most likely be? I'm scared for my daughters safety and she does not even want to see her mother. I've avoided all contact and have kept my daughter away from her mother to keep her safe.

My crystal ball is not working, however, I am confident that the mediator will ask follow-up questions to understand why your daughter is fearful. If the fears are validated I suspect that the visits with mother will be either supervised or limited to daylight hours or public places where you daughter will feel safe.
