Divorce Law - Substitution of Attorney
I am at the end of a 4 1/2 year divorce. My trial is set for June 2nd. My accountant has completed all work. I owe my attorney $30K and can only pay $9K right now. She said if I don't pay her $30K by tomorrow, she will file a motion with the court for Substitution of Attorney. Can she ''abandon'' me 20 days before trial?
