Divorce and purchase of new property
In the event a divorce is in its final decree (last stage before official), and partner purchase additional property, will the other partner be able to claim any interest in the new property purchase?

Not typically, if you're already separated. The separation date on the divorce petition controls unless another agreement is reached--or there's fraud involved. I'd have to know more about your specific circumstances to give you specific advice in this instance.
