Domestic Violence

can someone with a fresh domestic violence have custody of a minor child,and if this same person is keeping a child from the other parent what should i do?me being the parent he is hiding the child from.

If there is not a court order for custody and visitation then file the appropriate papers with the court to obtain a court order for custody and visitation. You can also contact the local district attorney regarding the matter. If he has a fresh conviction for domestic violence, he may be violating the conditions of his probation by taking the child. If you have not consulted an attorney you should do so and start immediate action to regain custody of your child.
